How Billionaires Think ,Success Advice From BILLIONAIRES

 1)Expect Success - Elon Musk

Elon Musk In one of the interview With Sal Khan of Khan Academy says that whatever you are trying to accomplish ,first you must figure out that if  success is at least one of the possibilities because for sure failure is one of the possibility and then he says that ideally you should try to bracket it and think that success  is in the envelope of outcomes

He continues to say that success on an academic level would have been Quite likely because  by publishing some useless paper that don't have any use in actual world and just it would add some  to the tree of knowledge .And he says that that was the path he was prepared to do but then the internet was the error that that came along .

Elon Musk then says that ,when internet came I was like okay the internet, I  am  pretty sure that success is one of the possible outcomes and it seems like i could do a sort of phd and watch Internet happen or I could participate and help build it in some fashion.

Then he told to the interviewer that he does not like the idea of watching it happen and so he decided to put things on hold  and start an internet company and publishing software maps and directions yellow pages

2)Take Risk  -Bill Gates

Bill Gates in one of the interview said that , part of thing that drives  computer science forward is doing risky things and having a long term time horizon

And  he then continues to say that, when microsoft was a small company  he benefited from the fact that   xerox and other companies had  made  investments in research that they'd  reached out and worked  with universities on a broad basis so we  felt very lucky that as we got  to a certain level of success we could  start our own research  group and have that research group be  in partnership with top universities all  over the world  doing advanced programming programs  things that range from  the work on speech recognition all the  way up to quantum computing

Bill Gates then says that they have Fairly very serious program that has high risk of failure and that is what makes it  fun and interesting  .

He then says that, In  Quantum computing
even in the best case it is probably decade away  before that makes  a difference but that's the kind of thing  that when it works can have incredibly  high payoff .

3) Ask for Help - Warren Buffett

Warren Buffett in an interview says that  there is a company in Washington named Geico and he got exposed to it in 1950 when he was 20 years old .

He then  says that he came there on Saturday because he learned that his professor whom he worshipped at Columbia  named Ben Graham was the chairman of that company .

So when he got there the door was locked and then he pounded on the door and then some janitor let him in and there he met a marvellous fellow named Laura Davidson
who spent 4 hours with him teaching him all about insurance and he also helped Buffett very much in life .

Buffett then says that, you're going to get help by  some wonderful people in life it's it's  a great thing to  to remember later on when you're to be  my age that you know all the help you've  received from different people because   nobody does it alone .

He then continues to say that , we all sit in the shade of trees that  were planted by others so  it's obligatory i think to plant a few  trees ourselves.

4) Have empathy - Oprah  Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey in Harvard University says that real progress requires  authentic  an authentic way of being honesty and  above all  empathy

She then says that the single  most  important lesson i learned in 25 years  talking  every single day to people was that  there is a common denominator in our  human  experience most of us  I tell you we don't want to be divided  what we want the common denominator that  I found in every single interview  is we want to be validated we want to be  understood  I've done over 35 000  interviews in my career and  as soon as that camera shuts off  everyone always turns to me and  inevitably in their own way  asks this question was that okay  i heard it from president Bush i heard  it from president Obama I've heard it from heroes and from  housewives i've heard it from  victims and perpetrators of crimes I even heard it from Beyonce and all of  her Beyonces  she finishes performing hands me the  microphone and says  was that okay.

She then says that Friends and family yours enemies  strangers in every  argument in every encounter every  exchange ,they all want to know  one thing was that okay , did you hear me, do you see me  ,did what i say mean anything to you .

She then says that even though this is the college  where facebook was born  my hope is that you will try to go out  and have more face-to-face conversations  with people  you may disagree with that you'll have the the  courage to look them in the eye and hear  their point of view  and help make sure that the speed and  distance  and anonymity of our world doesn't cause  us to lose our ability to stand in  somebody else's shoes  and recognize all that we share as a  people  this is imperative for you as an  individual  and for our success as a nation .
